On June 2019, the EFMD extended ESCP Europe’s EQUIS accreditation for five more years. ESCP Europe is among the 1% of business schools worldwide to be triple-accredited.

EFMD “commends the School for the overall quality of its programmes” with a “student population of the School [that] embodies excellence, ambition, enthusiasm and overwhelming diversity in some domains.” This is great recognition of the unique European model offered by the School and of the outstanding international careers of its alumni.

EFMD is the accreditation body delivering the EQUIS quality label which accredits the entire business school.

Dean for Academic and International Affairs Léon Laulusa says “ESCP Europe offers the most mature example of multi-campus business education designed specifically for tomorrow’s international managers. We are proud that ESCP Europe is recognised as one of the world’s leading business schools. Today we are rewarded for our innovative international approach to business education and to the personal development we offer our students and graduates.”

As a new feature, in addition to the EQUIS label, EFMD will now extend its accreditation to specific programmes. The EFMD Accredited Doctoral label is exclusive to EQUIS accredited schools. ESCP Europe supports the new EFMD programme accreditation for leading business schools across the world.

Dean Frank Bournois confirms “I am delighted to support this new initiative by EFMD as our school has already benefited from the full EQUIS accreditation, but we have a range of world-class programmes that I would like to see accredited – a key guarantee for the growth of the ESCP Europe brand in a highly competitive international education market.”

ESCP Europe‘s next EQUIS accreditation review is scheduled in 2023.
